One of the three treasures of Taoism

The taboo word, the token, and the seal are known as the three treasures. It can be seen that the taboo word has an extraordinary status in the Taoist sect!

What is "taboo"?

Taoism says: "All truths have names and taboos, but they should not be called lightly. They all need to be avoided."

The word taboo, also called secret taboo, has an unspeakable meaning. The real names of the immortals are generally not written directly in words or when they are called directly, taboo words are used.

The effect of the secret is equivalent to the signature of the god, which is equivalent to the arrival of a ray of divine light from the god.

"The taboo of Zǐwēi, the secret name of the Great Emperor Zǐwēi."

The full name of Zǐwēi Dàdì is "Zhōngtiān Zǐwēi Běijí Tàihuáng Dàdì," one of the Four Heavenly Ministers in Taoism, second only to the Jade Emperor. He governs the celestial laws and terrestrial phenomena, including the sun, moon, stars, mountains, rivers, various gods, and the four seasons. He has the ability to command wind and rain, and control thunder, lightning, and spirits. The secret name is widely used in Taoist practices such as drawing symbols, consecration rituals, and ceremonies.

"Zǐwēi huì" can be said to be one of the most commonly used taboo words. This word can be broken down into three characters: "yǔ" "jiàn" "ěr".

According to "Guangcheng Yizhi: Complete Collection of Qianyuan Mantra Dates"

The "Ziwei Hui" can be decomposed according to the Three Officials and Four Saints, the Southern and Northern Six Stars, and the Big Dipper Seven Stars.

The character "雨" has eight strokes, representing the Eight Trigrams.

"氵" has three strokes, representing the Three Officials (the Purple Star Emperor is also the chief of the Three Officials).

The character "斤" consists of four strokes, representing the Four Saints of the North Pole.

The character "車" consists of seven strokes, representing the Big Dipper, which has seven stars.

The character "耳" consists of six strokes, representing the six stars of the Southern Dipper.

Combined together, it means "The Supreme Emperor of the Middle Heaven, the Northern Pole, and the Purple Microcosm personally leads the Three Officials, the Four Saints, the Southern Dipper, and the Northern Dipper to execute matters."

In "Youyang Za Zu", it is recorded: "At that time, it was common to paint a tiger's head on the door and write the word '聻', meaning that the names of the underworld gods could dispel malaria and epidemic diseases." Here, "渐耳" is transmitted as the name of the underworld ghosts, and '聻' represents the fear of ghosts and spirits.

In "Wu Yin Ji Yun", it is said: "When a person dies and becomes a ghost, people fear it; when a ghost dies and becomes a '聻', ghosts fear it. If this character is inscribed in seal script and pasted on the door, all ghosts will respect it and stay away for thousands of miles."

"Ziwei Hui" is the best magic weapon to ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune, so it is suitable for people with excessive yin energy, people who are suspected of having enemies and creditors, people who have nightmares and poor sleep at night, people who often drive at night, etc., but because Seeing that the word "Hui" is like a god, it is not recommended to play with it frequently. It is recommended to take it off during sex... So do you know how to use Ziwei taboo?
